ST. LOUIS -- Another inmate dies at the St. Louis City Justice Center. Jail officials tell our partners at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that Juwon Carter, 44, suffered a medical emergency around 2 a.m. Saturday.Prior to Saturday there had been at least two inmate deaths at the Justice Center this year.FOX 2 Previously reported both occurred in a two-week stretch back in August.Missouri court records show carter had been in custody since May of last year on second-degree assault and involuntary manslaughter charges after the death of his infant son.Denver man escapes Jefferson County jail by hopping delivery fence

Aurora police are investigating a Saturday night shooting that left one teenager dead in a Southlands Mall parking lot.Officers responded to reports of a shooting around 8:30 p.m., and when they arrived on the scene they found a male teenager suffering from a gunshot wound, according to a statement from the Aurora Police Department on X.#APDAlert Officers are investigating a fatal shooting outside the Southlands mall.When officers arrived they found one juvenile was suffering from a gunshot wound. Police detained three teens after they were found in a stolen car in Simi Valley. According to a Simi Valley Police Department release, authorities in Los Angeles provided their Simi Valley counterparts with information referencing a possible stolen vehicle out of L.A. SVPD officers spotted the vehicle around 9 p.m. Saturday night in the 3800 block of Stell Drive and made contact with the three occupants.
