As they fled over the Golden Gate Bridge, the driver of the vehicle, Brown's girlfriend, fell out of the car and was fatally run over by a drunk driver. Prosecutors allege that Brown pushed the woman out of the car and committed involuntary manslaughter. He was convicted of murder in 2005 based on a statement the woman said to police before she died. He has tried devoting the entire speech to just one topic — homelessness in 2020 — and using Dodger Stadium during the pandemic to give exhausted residents a pep talk about “ brighter days ahead.” Newsom slams Walgreens, says California will cease doing business with company Scripted speeches have given Newsom trouble because of his dyslexia, a common learning disability that makes it harder for him to read and do other things related to reading.
